So I have slowly been working on getting some things together to do some medieval illustrations of knights and men at arms etc. Time period around 1400 give up take 20 yeas. As part of that I purchased this kettle helmet and then aged it today. Wanted something really worn looking.
As a side note its interesting that people have the idea that only men at arms and archers etc wore kettle helms. When in fact they were used by all levels of society including kings etc.
